Tampa-based Cox’s Seafood introduced a new range of value-added, frozen, ready-to-cook wild-caught American shrimp at the 2026 Seafood Expo North America (SENA), following more than a year of product development. The new retail offering features chef-inspired flavors, including “Kickin’ Tikka Masala,” and is designed to meet increasing consumer demand for convenient, sustainable, chemical-free seafood sourced within the U.S.
Key Highlights of the Launch:
The shrimp products are expected to be available in retail stores across the country
starting in June 2026.
The line showcases wild-caught Gulf shrimp combined with distinctive, easy-to-prepare flavor options that simplify cooking seafood at home.
The “Kickin’ Tikka Masala” variety was selected as a finalist for the 2026 Seafood
Excellence Awards.
According to Senior Vice President Vinay Bedi, the company is responding to a growing trend toward home cooking by offering convenient, high-quality, and sustainably sourced seafood products.
Through this new product line, Cox’s Seafood aims to expand demand in the Gulf shrimp
segment by providing premium, environmentally responsible, and user-friendly meal
solutions.
